Batian Goggle
For those who need even more protection, Edge Eyewear created the Batian – a fashionable and comfortable goggle kit that includes interchangeable Clear and G-15 Vapor Shield
anti-fog lenses. A soft foam lining allows for hours of comfortable wear, while an adjustable elastic strap with rubber strips keep the goggles secure on the head. Indirect vents are found on the top and bottom of the goggle frame to allow airflow but keep unwanted particles out. As always, these goggles are ANSI Z87.1+2010
and Military MCEPS GL-PD 10-12 rated.

Welding Lenses
Welding lenses filter intense levels of infrared light that is produced during gas welding, brazing, torch cutting, etc. These green-tinted welding lenses provide protection from UVC rays, which are the most harmful of the ultraviolet spectrum. Exposure to high levels of this light without proper lens filtration can result in photokeratisis, often referred to as "welder's flash."
IR3 lenses allow 12% of light to enter the lens are intended for low levels of infrared light. IR5 allow only 2% of light to pass through, protect against medium levels of infrared light.
Caution: Do not use these lenses for high levels of ultraviolet radiation.
Edge Eyewear IR3 and IR5 lenses are available in the Zorge (shown above) and Dakura.

What is a Polarized Lens?
In 1999, Edge Eyewear became the first company ever to offer polarized lenses for safety glasses. Polarized lenses protect the eyes by utilizing a special filtering layer that allows only direct light rays to enter the eye. This technology can be compared to the horizontal slats of open window blinds. These polarized lens “slats” block reflected light from below and glare from above, maximizing clarity and overall visibility. By allowing only direct light to enter, this lens maximizes the ability to see without obstructions from sun or snow.

Polarized Gradient Smoke Lens
Polarized Gradient Smoke lenses have a vertical smoke-to-clear tint that equalizes harsh light from above and soft light from below. A favorite for daytime reading and driving. The addition of a polarizing filter increases clarity by reducing glare. 16% of available light passes through the Smoke lens.
Available in the following models: Brazeau, Reclus

Aqua Precision Technology
Aqua Precision technology, originally developed by NASA, was first used on astronaut helmet visors and windows in the portholes of satellites. Edge Eyewear became the first company ever to offer safety glasses that feature Aqua Precision lenses. The unique properties of this lens effectively block the transmission of infrared light, while also reducing excess blue and red light on both ends of the visible light spectrum. The result is ultimate optical clarity and contrast, especially in the brightest light conditions.
The Aqua Precision lens can be found in the Brazeau, Reclus & Reclus Polarized, Khor & Khor Polarized, Baretti, Kazbek & Kazbek Polarized, Kazbek XL & Kazbek XL Polarized, and Dakura & Dakura Polarized.
