What is Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR)?

Several models of Edge glasses are equipped with Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR), a soft and pliable compound that increases its grip as it becomes warm or damp from perspiration. This technology is used in many of our temple tips and nose pads to prevent slipping and keep glasses on the face.


Thermoplastic rubber pieces can be found on the following glasses styles: Reclus, Khor, Baretti, Kazbek, Kazbek XL, Dakura, Delano, Delano G2, Kirova, Zorge G2, and Banraj

Delano G2

The newly redesigned Delano G2 is a sporty, lightweight wraparound that features a high visibility yellow insert on each temple. The flexible and durable black frame is equipped with soft thermoplastic rubber nose pads and temple arms to create a comfortable, nonslip fit.
